It really is crazy how changing one little thing can have a snowball effect. By having a morning routine in place to help me be more productive before starting my day I have been able to be more productive during the day as well. Do you remember how the other day I said I wanted to makeover my mornings in order to be more productive? Well even the first day where I didn't do anything most of the day I was more productive because of what I was able to get done before the day even started. Today I was able to be even more productive after that!
My morning routine went great again this morning. The only issue is that I seem to get too distracted to get work done on here/YouTube so I think I might move that to my evening routine or "as long as it gets done at some point". By 8 am I was ready to go. I knew I needed to do some running around and I was considering putting it off until tomorrow. I wanted to be home for the eclipse so I could watch it online (was actually very anti-climatic to be honest lol). Since I was up and ready by 8 I decided that I could get some running around done before the eclipse stuff started happening. So right away I was able to run to the license bureau to update my license and run to Walmart for some envelopes. I got home and made some phone calls about getting the inspection for my car done for my plates and then updated my insurance. I made an appointment for the inspection as well as with a lawyer to get some documents notarized for immigration paperwork. I found out that I needed a form before I could get the inspection done. Again I couldn't decide to go today or not. After the eclipse and lunch was over it wasn't even noon yet! I decided to run out to get the form and on the way home I mailed off my provincial application for the adoption (HUGE DEAL!!!!!!). I got home and checked the mail and in it was paperwork that I needed for the stuff I'm getting notarized on Thursday. I also was able to email my principal for a class list and pack some school stuff in my car. Now it's only 3:30 pm and I feel like I've done a million things on my list today! Oh, and right now I'm baking muffins :) Having a morning routine has definitely set up the rest of my day to be successful!
